Taste of Saint Lucia

This easy-going tour unfolds through the N.E. of the island. Enjoy driving through the rural countryside before enjoying a 30/40 minute walk through a heritage site, discovering the various trees, plants and some species of birds. Sample the freshly picked local fruits and experience the Creole house for a tasting of local Accra and Bakes.

Then drive on to the distillery passing through the countryside during which, your guide provides an insight into the history and culture of the different neighbourhoods. The distillery tour is more than a lesson in how rum is made, as you learn of the role it played in the community as well as gain an opportunity to visit the carnival room for your own mini carnival experience. The culmination of the distillery visit is the tasting bar, where you can put your tasting skills to the test on these Internationally award-winning rums. Last but not least is a stop at Marigot Bay with time to just sit and enjoy a complimentary drink, while soaking up the atmosphere.

At the distillery, it is possible to purchase items at factory prices where your items are packaged to allow you to carry in your checked baggage.
